(And I feel like a lot of the meta-commentary I've been making on social media platforms recently, inspired by the platform shock of switching over to Dreamwidth, has a sort of Morlock/Eloi feel to it, that this here is a cozy little morlock mine where you post text that you're in control of, relatively speaking. So as in the other example I don't necessarily have a good grasp on what the difference actually is, but something is inspiring my sensation of a difference.)
